ARE YOU CONNECTED

Hi! Everybody am back to blogging and this blog is all about the deteriorating value of relationships among youngsters.

Healthy loyal and genuine relationships are some of the best gifts a man can ever possess.A  man is judged, respected and remembered for the amount of time and patience he invests in a relationships.

Relationships are something that are carefully constructed with love, care, involvement  and are easily broken by ego, hatred, impatience etc. It takes years to build a relationship and seconds to break them.

But with the rapid advancement of technology and an increase in social media usage & online dating apps the value of relationships has been drastically reduced. Does today's generation really need a relationship? Or it’s just to spend cold nights, post snapchat videos and upload selfies is a million dollar question which remains unanswered among today's youngsters.

A good relationship is when there is one soul in two bodies which cares, loves , pines to be with each other and where all the necessary steps are taken to nurture, nourish with a strong intention and determination to stay with each other during ups & downs.

A relationship is not only spoiled by the lack of love, irresponsibility etc but also by breach of trust, extra marital affairs, clandestine affairs which play a major role in tearing relationships apart. The recent rule issued by the supreme court in legalizing adultery has not only bought national shame but has also made people very selfish. It has the much needed power to inculcate a strong misconception among human beings that it is first a beautiful face & a sexy body that are  important in a relationship and not the heart that cares.

Apart from the above mentioned qualities other qualities such as possessiveness, insecurity, jealousy and obsession are something that ruins a relationship. A matured relationship is when the other person understands the love behind the obsession and an immatured relationship is when the other person fail to understand the love behind the obsession . Failing to understand the love leads to painful breakup which in turn leads to disinterest to patch up & also to accept another relationships.

Life is short & full of uncertainty so with the time left for us to live let’s all maintain good and healthy relationship with our loved ones. Good relationships are a vital component of a man's health & well being. The health risk of being alone & isolated in one's life is compared to living with high untreated diabetics & blood pressure etc.

Please remember no relationship is perfect kindly  do not ignore / abandon relationships for a few faults because in the end you might end up losing diamonds while counting stones.

Thank you.

Feed animals and don’t abuse .

THE GREATNESS OF A NATION AND ITS MORAL PROGRESS CAN BE JUDGED BY THE WAY ANIMALS ARE TREATED - MAHATMA GANDHIJI

Hi my dear bloggers and new found friends am back to blogging and this time my blog is about animal abuse.

Animal abuse is one of the most alarming and important issues to be addressed with utmost priority by the Government of India. India a country known for kindness, compassion and love has now become bankrupt of values. Human beings have completely forgotten to raise their voice for the voiceless. Animals have always been pushed aside and have been neglected as there are no strong laws to protect animals from being abused.

Animal abuse starts from home when dogs are dumped on the streets by irresponsible pet owners for various reasons. Dogs that are dumped on the road are picked up by breeders and  are bred unethically until they are drained and once again left on the streets when they are of no use .

Apart from getting dumped on the road dogs face more cruelty. In countries like  China & Korea they are used for human consumption as dog meat. The similar incident of dog meat was on the news recently where 1000 kg of dog meat was seized in the Egmore railway station by the Indian railway officials.

Animals such as pigs, goats and camels are being slaughtered mercilessly by the butchers, cows are being impregnated over and over again in the dairy industry to yield more milk .

Hens in the poultry industry are impregnated over and over again to yield eggs faster they are kept in barren battery cages which is smaller than an A4 size paper and are also debeaked from pecking each and each other.

Other than domestic animals wild animals such as Tigers & Elephants are also abused not only in circus but also in other public places.

Let’s take the example of Sri Racha Tiger Zoo in Thailand where Tigers are drugged to be numb and  pose for pictures patiently & harmlessly to the public. Elephants are abused all over the world in various ways to entertain people they are beaten , starved and kept in unhygienic pathetic conditions leading them to physical & mental illness.

The term animal abuse not only means harassing animals in the above mentioned ways it also means encroaching their habitat by human beings. Depriving animals from allowing them to live in their natural habitat freely & happily is a worst kind of cruelty.

Let’s take the case of Avni- Avni the majestic cat was brutally murdered by the hunter ( Shafat Ali Khan) in Maharashtra . The main reason for Avni's death was due to man animal conflict where a private cement factory needed Avni's home to expand their company.

Despite huge social media campaign and repeated request to the Government we were unable to save Avni . Instead of tranquilizing and sending her to the sanctuary she was brutally murdered leaving her cubs stranded with no food and motherly car. With no proper answers to provide to animal activist the case was hastily covered up by the forest officials by conveniently blaming Avni as a deadly man eater .

A few weeks ago after the death of Avni there was yet another tiger that was murdered in the Dudhwa district. A few days later two tiger cubs were run down by a train in Maharashtra. The reason for frequent death of animals is because of humans encroaching their space for their own selfish needs.

My dear friends I would hereby like to conclude by stating that animals are no less than human beings and they have  equal rights to live in this world . As responsible citizens let's embark on a journey in saving them by understanding their feelings ,emotions & needs etc. Let us give them the much needed safety , security , love and ensure that they run freely and happily and live a comfortable life

Thank you.

ARE HOLIDAYS ONLY FOR HUMANS

Are Holidays only for Humans?

As a child a visit to the Zoo was the most exciting outing we could ever have.

Be it summer or winter vacation a visit to the zoo was mandatory. Watching our favourite animals such as ferocious Lions, majestic Tigers, playful Monkeys & gracefully dancing Peacocks in close proximity was something very fascinating.

But we failed to understand the dark truth behind the pathetic lives of animals in the Zoo. My dear new found friends, animal lovers, animal enthusiast and fellow bloggers the main reason for me to pen down this blog is to expose the unethical & inhuman treatment of animals in the Zoo.

I was extremely saddened and depressed to read the article on Times of India dated 6th May 2018 regarding no weekly holidays for the Chennai zoo until the end of summer. Animals in the Zoo are not happy and peaceful as you think.

They are confirmed to small, filthy & unhygienic cages attracting deadly parasites such as ticks, fleas etc which causes severe skin infections in their ear, tail, neck, anal & groin areas. These parasites not only attack animals but also human beings. Animals are also malnourished, forced to adapt themselves to the unnatural temperatures and deprived of their freedom and privacy.

Summer is the most horrible season for humans & animals. More than humans it adversely affects animals who suffer a lot.  But unfortunately the summer season is one of the peak season for the Chennai zoo authorities to mint money as people throng in the zoos just to scream , mock, and knock the glass enclosures of animals for nothing .

Animals in the zoos get terribly stressed which leads to Zoochosis - (A disease caused in animals in the zoos due to physical & mental stress.) . These kinds of stress further lead to aggressiveness and as a result they lash out at human beings by not only injuring them also by killing them.

It is definitely a myth that  zoo provides us an opportunity to learn about the varied species of animals, their habitat and behaviour etc. What was initially started off as a place of enlightenment has now become a place of entertainment.

My dear friends considering the deteriorating physical & mental health of the animals we as responsible citizens with humanity shall urge to take the much needed extra step ahead and educate the Chennai Zoo authorities to declare weekly holidays to the Zoo.

Animals are no less than human beings, they need their much needed break, freedom privacy etc. my dear friends as “Mahatma Gandhi " rightly quoted the greatness  of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated .

We as a nation have excelled in the fields of technology, education, arts & what not, but we have miserably failed in the field of humanity to animals. Let us all come forward and take stupendous effects to safeguard our fauna and also excel in the field of humanity to animals.

Thank you.
