MY LOCKDOWN DAYS

Hi everybody am back to blogging and today my blog is about “My Lockdown Days”

Like any other individual I was extremely excited, eager to welcome 2020 and maintain my new beautiful, positive diary of 365 pages.

Life went on normally for me from 1st Jan 2020 -18th March 2020. On 18th March 2020 like any other day I boarded the bus from Thiruvanmiyur to Vadapalani not having a slightest idea that this day would take a drastic turn in my life.

Post lunch on (18th March 2020) my company had provided me the office laptop and had asked me to work from home due to the pandemic. With all smiles I bid goodbye to my colleagues left office at 3.20 Pm assuming that I would be called back to work after a couple of months of sabbatical break. But I never knew that that day would be my last day at work.

Having left office so early I gorged on my favourite gastronomical snacks and reached home much earlier than my usual time with the happiness of not rushing to work the next day, I slept with great relaxation and woke up little later than my usual time basking on the unexpected happiness.

Initially for a few days I had little bit of official works to be done then later as days passed I had lesser or no official work to be done and I was completely free and relaxed.

Having experienced a stressful travel from Madipakkam to Vadapalani and Thiruvanmiyur to Vadapalani I was totally exhausted and was craving desperately for a break and this lockdown was indeed a lovely and a much deserved break for me. A break I can eat, sleep on time, relax well and most importantly pursue my passion for writing.

The initial few days of lockdown was spent sitting in front of the idiot box watching movies and taking a power nap after lunch. Then it struck me that there are more to be done during this time rather than wasting time in front of the idiot box.

So the first productive thing done during this lockdown was learning MS – Excel

My first motto and goal for 2020 was to settle in a good job with high salary in a professional company and I understood that in order to achieve the above strong MS –Excel knowledge is the first and the important pre requisite. I did join an institution to learn the same but due to the pandemic I was unable to continue. And I decided to put my time to good use by learning Ms Excel from you tube through a channel called “TUTORIALS POINT”.

On the  first month of 2020 I had met my very good Facebook friend Mrs. Srikala Akka in Guindy Park and akka had a discussion with me regarding her online magazine called science shore for which she wanted me to be her contributing writer. The moment akka approached me I was very happy and was eager to join akka, thanks to this lockdown I had lots of time to write varied articles to the magazine and to my blog with great zeal and enthusiasm.

MY DEAR FRIENDS MY GOLDEN MOMENTS OF LOCKDOWN ARE AS FOLLOWS

During this lockdown I had the wonderful opportunity to unleash, explore and expose my talents. And I owe a lot to social media for giving me the opportunity.

FIRST GOLDEN MOMENT DURING LOCKDOWN

Teaching Spoken Hindi:  I had no idea of how I was roped into a group in Facebook called Put me in Touch”.

I owe a lot to that group. There was a posting made by somebody about the need of a spoken Hindi Teacher. Me being very confident and fluent on the language applied for the same and started teaching spoken Hindi to adults via whatsapp video calls & google meet on chargeable basis Rs 500 per student for two hours from Monday to Friday. It was a great experience being a tutor and I felt happy and proud on the same.

I take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt thanks to my parents for encouraging me and helping me to learn Hindi.

SECOND GOLDEN MOMENT DURING LOCKDOWN

Am indebted to Facebook once again .There was an advertisement in Facebook by a radio channel called Voxit on needing a fresh voice. The advertisement was prominent enough to garner a lot of attention and me upon accidentally noticing the advertisement immediately applied for the same and after a few rounds of audition I was selected to be an RJ and was proudly hosting a show called

“Vanga Pesalam”. Where I would discuss varied topics with my audiences. Though I was not paid I had a great mental satisfaction every time I did the show.

It was an amazing experience of being an RJ and I was much complimented and appreciated for the below

My hard work and perseverance

My voice quality

Creation of my scripts

It was during that time I realized that I can not only be an RJ but also a script writer.

THIRD GOLDEN MOMENT DURING LOCKDOWN

I had always wanted to be a content writer but due to time constraints and having no clue on how to approach on the same I confined myself to blogging and during this lockdown I had the opportunity to become a content writer and I had given the contents for the websites below

ATOM PHOTOGRAPHY – WEDDING PHOTOGRPAHY WEBSITE

I had penned down a detailed write up about the pre wedding and post wedding rituals conducted in a Tamil Brahmin wedding

It was an awesome experience on being a content writer. I was paid only RS 250 was for the same it was not the amount that mattered to me it was the recognition and happiness that meant a lot to me.

ELIXIR ENERGIES WEBSITE

I had provided the entire content about solar panels for the website

It was during this time when my passion met profit. Every time when I knew about the lockdown extension my heart would secretly jump with joy as I would get more time to accomplish lot of things.

Out of all the golden moments mentioned my best and eternal golden moment in this lockdown was receiving a brand new “Asus Laptop “as a gift from my parents.

It was during this lockdown I had understood the below

1)    Nobody is born talented, people are made. Each and every human being in this world are talented it is we who should take the much needed step and effort to search, unleash and expose our talents. It is undoubtedly very challenging initially but when you put your heart and soul on the same you are surely unstoppable and you are sure to achieve much beyond your expectations.

2)    Time is non-refundable and it is more than the word precious there are lots of things that can be achieved when you invest the right amount of time.

HARRASMENT ON WOMEN.

If you want something said ask a man, if you want something done ask a woman. “

Who is a woman?

Woman: Is a voiceless gender who are made to tolerate different types of violence and abuse both inside and outside family.

Hi my dear friends am back to blogging and today my blog is about violence and abuse on women.

Women are subjected to different kinds of violence such as physical, mental, sexual harassment etc. Precisely speaking women are considered as living objects for men to exploit, harass and show their frustration whenever needed.

Right here in this blog we shall discuss the below

1)     Reasons for violence

2)     Steps for women to save themselves from violence

REASONS FOR VIOLENCE

THE MALE FACTOR

Men both in rural and urban areas are extremely proud of their gender and strongly feel it is their right to abuse women and it is the duty of a women to be tolerant on the same.

SOCIAL STIGMA

Women get married with lots of hopes, dreams of a blissful married life. But not all are lucky on the same. Some are fortunate to live the life they have dreamt while the others are unfortunate to live in the most unimaginable, pathetic and abusive marriage.

Not all women are given the freedom to call it quits to their marriage life. There are women who are brought up with strong stereotypical ideology that women are bound to be tolerant to abuse and it is a disgrace to return back quitting her married life.

These ideologies and thoughts have a huge impact on men, and women fearing abandonment end up sticking to their abusive marriage. This societal stigma is a major trump card for men to abuse women.

LACK OF EDUCATION

Women both in rural and in some parts of urban areas lack education in courage, independence etc. This lack of education makes them prone and tolerant to violence and abuse.

DOMINANCE

Men upon landing on a good job with high salary slowly start their dominance on women urging them to quit their jobs and stay confined to their homes. Weak stereotypical women agree to the same and become heavily dependent financially on the earning member of the family. This dependency makes them being treated as a doormat wife who is abused left, right and centre.

INSECURITY

In today’s world women are also equally capable to land up on a better job with high salary to be in par with men. But not all women are blessed to have a supporting, encouraging husband. There are women who face merciless financial violence upon earning better than men.

Men upon being extremely jealous, insecured tend to harass women financially by taking control of their hard earned money and leaving them penniless. This frustration further leads t to physical and mental abuse.

DOWRY

“As long as she is wise and good a girl has sufficient dowry”

Out of all the other issues dowry is the main reason for violence. Women are treated as princess when the dowry deal is fulfilled as per the agreed terms and is ill-treated upon failing on the same. Men and their families fail to understand that it is a disgrace, shame and illegal to harras women on dowry.

Having looked at different reasons for abuse and violence let us look at the consequence of violence.

Women upon being struck in an abusive marriage face physical injuries such as

Bruises, fractures and other deadly violent in juries which makes them permanently handicapped or infertile.

Apart from the above, women upon experiencing too much pain makes them prone to depression, anxiety and drives them insane.

Children upon growing up in an abusive environment get mentally affected and develop a strong hatred towards the abuser. Children tend to run away from home fearing their safety thus getting stranded in an unknown land being deprived of basic necessities such as parental love, education and good food.

STEPS FOR WOMEN TO SAFEGUARD THEMSELVES FROM VIOLENCE

Social Media

Social media is a wonderful platform when used properly. Urban women should be bold, courageous and independent enough to report violence and abuse. Upon doing so there are sure chances of getting help immediately.

Being fiercely dependent is one of the major reasons for women to be prone to violence and abuse. Both rural and urban women should stop being financially dependent and try to be independent as possible.

STAND AGAINST VIOLENCE

Women both in rural and urban areas should put an end to violence and abuse by themselves by making a complaint in the nearest police station. By doing so women safeguard themselves and also become a source of inspiration to other women.

COMMUNICATION

Communication is the key to success in all relationships. Instead of talking about each other we should start talking to each other. Women upon being abused should try talking to their partners and put an end to the same by themselves.

My dear women folk you are much beautiful and stronger than you think and assume. You play various roles of a mother, sister, wife, daughter, daughter in law with great excellence.

There are plenty of job opportunities available online and offline women should find the right job as per their educational qualification and should try to be financially independent.

Words are not enough to describe your sacrifice towards your family. Please don’t allow others to abuse or ill treat you.

My dear women it is ok to fall down once but not ok to fail to rise again and be back with a bang. Please be courageous, bold, and independent to leave the table when respect is no longer served.

Thank you.

CHILDREN'S DAY

Children are the stars of today and the future leaders of tomorrow. Children are the most priceless asset for a couple. A home is incomplete without the presence of cute, cuddly, innocent and sweet children. The presence of children at home adds great pleasure and positive vibes in our daily lives.

If you could ask me what is the best part of my life?  I would say that my childhood days were the most precious, nostalgic and beautiful part of my life and am proud to say that I had the best childhood ever. I Am desperately looking for a time machine which would take me back to my childhood days.

Hi friends am back to blogging and today my blog is about children’s day.

Children’s day: Every school going kid eagerly wait for this unforgettable day during the month of November. Children’s day in India is celebrated on the 14th of November every year which is actually the birthday of our former Prime Minister Pandit. Jawaharlal Nehru who is affectionately called as “Chacha Nehru” for his love for children.

But officially children’s day is on the 20th of November and it was during that day the United Nations had adopted the declaration rights for children.

It is during 14th November children’s day is celebrated with much pomp at schools with lots of games, competitions and prize distribution. Children are also pampered by their parents by planning a trip with their children to their favourite malls and restaurants.

But there is a misconception that children’s day is a one day affair. It is not a one day affair and there is more to celebrate children’s day other than the customary celebrations.

Right here in this blog we shall discuss the below

1)     Tips for celebrating children’s day on a daily basis

2)     Steps to be taken to celebrate children’s day in a much better way.

Not all children are fond of gifts and not all can be bribed by gifts. There are children who long, crave for parental love, affection and involvement. There is a drastic change today on child upbringing when compared to earlier days.

Today’s parents being involved on the rat race have no or less time for children. Working parents leave their children alone at home or with maids. Children growing up with busy parents become neglected and this negligence results in having huge negative impact on children where they are prone to getting in to bad company or performing poorly in academics.

Tips for celebrating children’s day on a daily basis (TIP 1)

Working parents should keep a check on their children and should try to spend at least an hour chatting and listening to them patiently.

Parents should regularly have dinner table discussions with their children. A productive, hilarious, enthusiastic conversation is a must. During the course of discussion parents are requested to keep their cell phones away and try to pay utmost attention to their children as much as possible.

Parents should read bedtime stories to children until a certain age as and when possible.

Children upon receiving the above from parents become extremely happy as they had received the much needed attention, response and love that they have craved for.

TIP 2

Gone were the days where children used to play outdoor games happily with their friends. With the sudden technological revolution children are totally addicted to games in their smartphones, playstation and other gadgets and have lost total interest to play outside. Playing outdoor games are not only confined to schools but also applicable at homes.

Children should be encouraged to play outside and make new friends. Upon doing so children get to interact with others and learn the art of verbal communication. Children when allowed to play outside become fit, energetic and happy physically and mentally.

Children’s day is all about children’s happiness. Anything that makes children happy on a daily basis is considered as children’s day.

Let us discuss the better ways to celebrate children’s day.

When one section of children celebrate children’s day huge celebrations.  one section of children crave for a day to be pampered.

Children’s day is not only for the fortunate but also for the unfortunate children. There are no doubts about the efforts taken by NGOs to make children’s day a special occasion to the unfortunate children. But we as responsible citizens should also contribute on extending a helping hand to make it big to the unfortunate children.

1)     Schools apart from following a customary celebration should plan a trip to the missionaries, orphanages and organize more events at their premises and also encourage children from the missionaries and orphanages to participate on the same. Upon doing so children understand that happiness is something that is to be shared with everybody and extending our contribution in making others happy is real happiness.

Schools if possible should try to collect minimal funds from children and should try to sponsor a meal to the unfortunate children on children’s day.

Schools and parents should inculcate the habit of donating old clothes and toys to the unfortunate children. What seems old and useless to us is new and useful to them.

Parents should also plan a trip to the orphanages with their children to make them understand the art of living with minimal comforts.

Every year on children’s day new habits should be taught to children and should ensure that it is inculcated and followed for a lifetime.

GOOD HABITS TO BE TAUGHT TO CHILDREN

THE ART OF SAVING MONEY

“Money speaks one language you save me today and I shall save you tomorrow”

The art of saving money should be taught from a very young age .Parents should ensure that pocket money provided to children are put into good use.

Parents should initially teach fireless cooking to children and gradually move the ladder of teaching them basic cooking for survival.

Parents should teach basic household chores to children upon doing so the attitude to help their mothers, sisters and partners starts from a very young age.

My dear new found friends and fellow bloggers each and every child is special and have their right to live happily in this world and achieve their dreams. We as matured and responsible citizens should try to take the necessary steps to ensure that the dream of every child is fulfilled.

ONLINE DATING

Healthy, loyal and genuine relationships are some of the best gifts man can posses. With the rapid advancement of technology, relationships today have taken a whole new drastic turn. Relationships are easily available with a click of a button .People today are quickly able to find their partners on the move.

Hi friends am back to blogging and today my blog is about online dating.

Before we go further let me ask you what is online dating ?

Online dating is where youngsters fall into a golden trap by getting into relationships online through dating apps such as Tinder, okcupid etc.

These kind of relationships are generally casual with no commitment, honesty etc. There are hidden sexual motives behind relationships formed via online dating.

Technology being available anytime and anywhere youngsters today download dating apps in a jiffy and are all set to interact with their partners irrespective of geographical boundaries.

People fail to understand that relationships formed via dating apps do not always guarantee a together forever relationships. There are also relationships that had come to an end with great tragedy, betrayal etc.

Right here in this blog we shall discuss the below

1) Origination of Dating apps

2) Negative effects of Dating

ORIGINATION OF DATING APPS

Well there is nothing much to ponder dating apps have originated from social media. Social media is not only used for updating status, post checkins etc. It is also used for advertisement purposes .Dating  apps are advertised in the predominant space given to them  to garner lot of attention from youngsters.

Youngsters upon noticing them get quickly hooked and start interacting with people.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF DATING APPS

People using online dating apps soon get hooked to them resulting in quickly falling prey to sex scammers, pimps, drug peddlers.

Young school children and teenagers are prone to great risk and dangerous consequences upon using dating apps as their  naivety is well exploited .

Dating apps doesn't guarantee cyber security or privacy information entered in the site  such as passwords, email address and phone numbers are sure to be tracked, hacked and misused.

Dating apps are not for the relationship conscious people . People using dating apps should have a firm understanding that relationships formed via dating apps are predominately casual  with no commitments and people failing to understand the same feel betrayed and tend to end their lives tragically .

Today's youngsters upon using the apps get easily attracted to strikingly beautiful personality, flirtarious talking and end up counting stones when losing diamonds offline.

My dear new found friends and fellow bloggers relationships are not something formed within a few days or a few hours of chatting. Relationships are something that takes years to build and seconds to break.

Relationships are not only about sweet talking  it is also about commitment, dedication, responsibility . Rather it is more of the above and less of sweet talking . A relationship can very well survive without sweet and flirtarious talking but never survive without dedication , commitment, responsibility

Never get carried away by the sweet talks and looks in a relationship. Get carried away by the seriousness in a relationship.

THE HAZARDOUS IMPACT OF JUNK FOOD IN OUR DAILY LIFE

It is said that people are becoming increasingly overweight by consuming junk food. So ,we shall discuss what is junk food, the dangerous impact of junk food in our daily lives ,reasons for abundant availability of junk food and the measures to be taken to reduce the consumption. So before we go ahead first let me ask you, what is called junk food?"Junk food is something that remains few moments on lips forever in hips".

Junk food or fast food are food items that are quickly prepared , rich in taste, poor in nutrients etc. Items such as Burger, Pizza, Pasta, Pani Puri, instant noodles like Top ramen, Maggi etc. The items mentioned are glittery, unhealthy and upon regular consumption of the above items we not only become obese but also are prone to other types of diseases such as heart issues, sugar, cancer etc. Unlike healthy foods, there are zero amount of protein, vitamins, minerals associated with junk foods it contains unhealthy amounts of fats, sugar etc. Now let us discuss the reasons for the increase in junk food.

Well it is a well known fact that advertisements play a major role in enhancing the success of the product. Be it traditional marketing or the newly trending social media marketing. Junk food advertisers have their own unique way in expanding business through advertisement to attract people. Junk food outlets like KFC, Burger king, MC Donald endorse a full page advertisement in leading newspapers with drooling pictures, attractive offers & catchy slogans thus tempting the readers to gorge on their favourite items. Apart from the above mentioned advertising methods junk food outlets & junk food producers also advertise and market their products on social media like Instagram, Face book etc.

They offer prime space to the endorsers to endorse their products. Junk food companies make optimum use of the space provided to them and advertise their products outlets in such a way that advertisement does not go unnoticed.

Marketing Marketing is yet another vital tool in enhancing the company's productivity . Proper and strategic marketing is one of the first and prime reasons for the grand success of a product. First method of marketing is done by paying a whopping amount of money to the most famous celebrities to endorse their products . The second method of Marketing is through outlets like MC Donalds, Burger King , offers toys , gifts to the innocent children each time upon visiting them .Upon gifting /bribing the children they get carried away and end up visiting their outlets frequently .

Availablity & convenience

Junk food is something that is easily available in the market and also convenient to cook. All of us living a busy life and being held up in the rat race have no time for healthy cooking or to lead a healthy lifestyle so they opt for quick fix foods such as Pasta, Instant noodles , cup noodles ( Something that can be cooked in a jiffy by adding hot water) , bread toppings such as Pillsbury choco spread, Nutella choco spread being available easily people no longer feel the urge to cook and thus make use of the above mentioned food items. Having discussed the reasons on the increase in the consumption of junk food .Let us discuss the ways to reduce the consumption of junk food

Attitude to be fit

Well both men & women crave for a beautiful , toned physique and it is definitely our dream to have a beautiful body and that dream can be fulfilled only by eradicating junk food from our diet. Upon eradicating junk food from our diet we are sure to make our dreams come true by having a toned beautiful body

Watch what you eat

Well the sense of hunger is not only felt on our growling tummy but also on our mouth. And that is reason why most often the mouth is hungry than the tummy. Not every time we satiate our hunger pangs we also eat to kill boredom, depression etc. So we as matured individuals should watch what we eat and ensure that we eat the right food, at the right time. It is first our stomach that has to be given importance and next is our mouth

Water intake

"Water is the elixir of life"- Sir C.V,Raman. It is natural for human beings to sip their favourite sweetened carbonated drinks especially during summer thinking those sweetened drinks shall provide the much needed respite , relaxation, rejuvenation etc. But the bitter truth is those sweetened carbonated drinks does not actually quench your thirst indeed they make your more sick &unhealthy in the long run. It is pure good water which quenches our thirst and make us feel relaxed and refreshing. So whenever you feel thirsty please ditch those poisonous, hazardous, cool drinks and switch to plain pure water. Adding lime juice to plain, pure drinking water shall be a perfect summer detox drink and also an energy drink.

Switch to healthy food

It is not only junk food and sweetened carbonated drinks that are easily available there are also many healthy food such as protein bars, protein shakes, fibre biscuits etc which are available easily . These items can be consumed on a daily basis for a healthy happy life ahead

Self cooking

"Cooking is one of the greatest gift you can give to those you love" Cooking is not only about the taste of food it is also about the items that are cooked . Apart from cooking junk food let us learn to cook nutritious healthy food for ourselves and for people around us. Upon doing so, we as an individual and also people eat healthy nutritious food.

"All the glitters is not gold". But when it comes to junk food I would rather put it as "Not all that are tasty are healthy". For example let us take the example of Maggi. Maggi is a very renowned product of the age old company Nestle , Maggi a very mandatory product in all household and it comes with two catchy slogans.

"Fast to cook , good to eat","Taste bhi health bhi."

Well the above mentioned slogans are true to an extent it is definitely fast to cook but not good to eat. It is tasty but not healthy it is misguiding , misleading . It is made up of lead, maida and other harmful ingredients. Let us take another products called McCain . McCain has varied ready to eat junk foods products such as finger chips, potato fries, patties, smiley ,potato nuggets etc and other non vegetarian products are very easy to make but as discussed earlier are very hazardous.

Kindly find the below details.

Fried chicken : Steroids, arsenic can cause the risk of cancer

Instant noodles : Content same as Plaster of paris 3-5 years of eating may lead to kidney problems

Soft drinks : Obesity, osteoporosis ,tooth decay, diabetes

Processed meats: Processed meats can cause leukemia

As we all are living a sedentary lifestyle with huge pressure to win over the rat race let us not make it more complicated by eating unhealthy processed foods which damages both mind and body. Life is lived only once and is short , uncertain . Until our last day on our journey of life, Let us live happily and do the needful to live a healthy life ahead

Life is lived only once and is short , uncertain . Until our last day on our journey of life, Let us live happily and do the needful to live a healthy life ahead.

Please remember , out of all the priceless assets of a man ,health is one of the first, important asset to possess.

So from today onwards let us all take a pledge and say no to all types of unhealthy, poisonous and hazardous food and say yes to good and healthy food. "LET US EAT TO LIVE AND NOT LIVE TO EAT"

STEPS TO TAKE CARE OF OLDER PEOPLE

Well, experts say that elder people in the family were happy in their

good old days, as they spent more time with family and loved ones and
nowadays many suffer from loneliness which leads to health problems.
Now before we go ahead further let me ask you what according to
you good health is? Is good health only about being physically fit? Well,
definitely not !Good health is a combination of being fit physically and
mentally; it is the failure of mental health which leads to physical
illness.

Good health does not always come from medicines it comes
predominantly from laughter, joy, peace of mind, love, kindness etc. But
we as matured individuals being caught in the rat race we not only
neglect our health but also the health of our beloved elders in the
family.

Alright so let us discuss the reasons behind the decline of physical
and mental health of elders in the family. Apart from our work pressure
the following below are the reasons that keep the elders in the family
isolated.

1) TECHNOLOGY :

“I fear the day that Technology shall surpass human interaction “.
As Albert Einstein rightly quoted technology has definitely surpassed
human interaction. Gone are the days of listening and getting ourselves
deeply involved in the witty, adventurous, comical stories from elders
upon the arrival of technology things have changed drastically and has
created a havoc in the life of young children. Today’s children are more
interested in playing online games, watching videos than spending time
with parents & grandparents Being addicted to technology today’s children fail to understand the priceless values and moral practices from elders.

2) SOCIAL MEDIA :

“ Don’t use social media to impress people use it to Impact People “
Technology being available anytime anywhere people are able to
download social media apps such as facebook, twitter, instagram, in a
jiffy and very soon get hooked to the virtual glossy reel world. People
are busy comparing their lives with others and by uploading snapchat
videos, status , checkins etc. With the sudden rise in social media usage
people get carried away in the fake world forgetting the genuine
affectionate family waiting for them to shower the much needed love &
care.

3) CONVENIENCE FOOD

“ Chewday, Breadnesday, thirstday, fryday, platterday and sundaeZomato
With technology being available abundantly not only apps such as
facebook, twitter can be easily downloaded easily even apps such as
swiggy, zomato are downloaded easily. Upon availability of these apps
food can be consumed anytime anywhere and people no longer
understand the urge and need to dine with family they completely
forget that food is tasty when had with family.

Alright now having discussed the reasons of elders being isolated let us
discuss about the different ways to keep them healthy & happy.

1) BEING TOGETHER AND FOREVER

Well gone are the days of being together in a noisy, huge, happy joint
family. Due to various reasons today the concept of joint families has
been totally reduced and it is more of nuclear families and less of joint
families.
Not all old people are lucky enough to stay with families, some stay
alone or in retirement homes and end up feeling sick ,depressed etc. In
order to ensure their happiness, we as mature individuals should take
the steps mentioned below.

Fix a convenient date and time and try to meet them personally and
ensure that they have a lovely time. This is applicable for people living
in the same city. It is a well known fact that for people staying outside
the city and country it is impossible to come down and meet them
personally so for people staying outside kindly communicate with a
video call or skype call whenever possible.

2) A WALK TO REMEMBER

Well it is a well known fact that all of us are stressed and tired ! In
order to keep ourselves fit mentally and physically let us start taking a
brisk walk on a daily basis.
When starting our walk why walk alone let us take a walk with the
elders in the family while walking strike a meaningful, comical, pleasant conversation. In doing so, we not only to take care of our health also the health of our family members and keep them contented as much as possible.

3) TEACH TECHNOLOGY

Technology is something that is not only restricted to youngsters but
also applicable to elders . We as matured individuals should not misuse
technology but use technology productively by teaching technology to
elders and help them connect with friends and family all over the world
and also keep them updated on the latest happenings around the
world.

4) GIFTS

Well it is a undisputed fact that love , affection and commitment are
some of the best gifts to be both given & received especially with
respect to elders ,but apart from the above mentioned gifts there are
also other special gifts that would make a lot of difference to them
such as wishing them without fail on their anniversaries & birthdays ,
cooking their favourite food , gifting their favourite sweet , fruits etc.
And on top of all , trying our level best to spend quality time with them
is the best gift!

5) COMMUNICATION

The first best tool which always keeps a relationship going is
communication. Crystal clear, loving and supportive communication are
the key elements for a lovely relationship.
A simple caring communication via phone call, video call means a lot to
them and shall make a huge wonderful impact to their physical and
mental health.

6) WEEKENDS

Weekends are not only meant to have fun. Weekends are also meant to
spend time with family especially with parents and grandparents. So it
is important to plan schedule for the weekend accordingly and spend
maximum time with elders as far as possible.

I hereby conclude by stating that elders be it parents or
grandparents are a big asset to the family and it is our duty to take
care of them.

Let us try our best to take care of them and spend time
with them genuinely whenever possible because later when we look
back from our busy schedule there won’t be anything better.

Alright now let us look at the review & takeaway of the movie.

REVIEW

The bubbly, beautiful actress " Deepika Padukone" had essayed the role of an acid attack victim has done a commendable job. I would say Deepika had lived her role in the entire movieHer various expressions of joy and sorrow are par excellence..

Deepika who had earlier acted in various movies as a glam diva has stayed away from the glam quotient and has carried her role well  with the much needed grace.  She had successfully kept the audience hooked & gripped to the movie until the endDeepika is sure to win lots of accolades for her amazing work

Vikram Massey as a dedicated " NGO " worker looks cute & handsome and has also done a very good job.

On the whole " CHHAPPAK" is a lovely movie with crisp real screenplay with real emotions. A non stereotypical  movie which touches your heart and soul. Audience are sure to feel teary eyed upon walking out of the theatre.

Thought provoking movies like " CHHAPPAK"  are something that should be welcomed not only to create an awareness about the problems faced by woman in the society but also to be bold, strong, courageous to face the problems. CHHAPPAK is a movie to inform you that beauty begins with a brave heart.

Now let us look at the takeaway of the movie.

TAKEAWAY 1

Relationships are something that has to be cherished, loved, celebrated more and lived less. Rejections are common in relationships and yes it is a well known fact that not all human minds are well equipped to handle rejections and rejections are sure to make you feel agitated, dejected and devastated.

But we as matured, educated, human beings instead of relentlessly chasing people let us learn to chase ourselves and analyze the reason behind our rejection and take the much needed steps to ensure that next time you are loved & not rejected.

TAKE AWAY 2

My dear womenfolk you are lovely, beautiful, bold, courageous in your own way never crib about not having a spicy waist, finely toned arms, legs etc. All those are surely not eternal . Your attitude to be strong ,independent, bold and patient to tackle and overcome the problems life throws at you is eternal.

KINDLY NOTE " THE REVIEW AND TAKE AWAY MENTIONED ABOVE ARE PURELY BASED ON MY PERSONAL OPINION ONLY.
