THE DREAM OF BEAUTY DEFINED BY SOCIETY

" THE SUNRISE OF COURSE DOES NOT CARE IF WE WATCH IT OR NOT.IT WILL KEEP ON BEING BEAUTIFUL, EVEN IF NO ONE BOTHERS TO LOOK AT IT."

Before I go further in my blog I would like to ask you what is the meaning of being beautiful?

Is being beautiful all about physical appearance? definitely not, being beautiful is a combination of both physical and mental beauty. It is more of being kind, compassionate loveable and less about adorning yourself with tons of makeup and flaunting your svelte figure.
But unfortunately living in a world where original lime is used in finger bowls and artificial lime is used in fruit juices the concept of beauty is totally changed. It is no more the heart that cares, loves. It is all about your physical appearance.

A person is judged and remembered  more by  their physical appearance and less of their mental appearance. Even the longevity of today's relationship is continued and  decided by physical appearance.

The digital age has not only brought us closer but also has brought unexpected troubles and has made woman extremely obsessed and beauty conscious

Today's woman are tech savvy and are updated with the latest beauty trends. They use social media extensively  update their picture perfect selfies in apps such as Facebook , instagram etc with great anxiety and excitement to earn the much needed likes, comments etc.

The more the positive comments the more they are on cloud 9 and one or two negative comment that is where they get terribly upset , depressed and where there is a development of a syndrome called (Body dysmorphic syndrome) . T

hey immediately and vigorously with no further time to waste look for a quick fix solution to hide the so called defect in their body & this quick fix solution is none other than opting for a cosmetic surgery.

Hi! my dear new found friends & fellow bloggers am back to blogging again and my blog is about the cosmetic surgeries & their ill effects.

Cosmetic surgery? a new term! what is actually a cosmetic surgery? how did this evolve suddenly?

Well technically speaking cosmetic surgery is where people go under the knife /needle to enhance their physical appearance wherever needed.

How did it evolve?

Well! there is nothing much to ponder it evolved from a very powerful tool called social media. Social media has become a driving force in today's world .It is not only used to upload your selfies and relationship status but also to promote your business .

Social media offers a prime platform for companies to advertise their business . Companies that do cosmetic surgeries are no different they  make  optimum use of the space offered to them by advertising their services with catchy slogans and unrealistic images of photoshopped model with perfect body curves depicting that this dreamy body can be easily achieved through cosmetic surgery .

Upon advertising their services in  social media cosmetic surgery companies end up getting more leads without shelling out much money.

Alright now let’s look at the different types of cosmetic surgeries & their whopping prices.

LIP AUGMENTATION: RS 40,000- 50,000
HIP REDUCTION        : RS 35,000- 60,000

BREAST REDUCTION: 1,00,000- 1,50,000

But how do women afford these surgeries?

Well as a country we have not only developed in the field of science, technology but have also developed in the field of woman empowerment. Gone are the days were women would be confined to small rooms in their homes & solely dependent on their siblings/ parents / and spouse for financial assistance. Today there is a huge rise in women empowerment and women are no longer dependent on anybody for financial assistance.

Women today are constantly reminded to be beautiful as per the demands extended by the society, 'with tons of make-up & cosmetics available in the market women don't imagine to step out of their homes without their makeup products. There is a huge difference of a woman's looks both inside & outside of her home. At home she is herself extremely comfortable with her pyjamas but a woman's look outside is only to please others.

Social media has contributed a lot in making women overly conscious about their beauty it has also taught women to compare themselves with other celebrities brainwashing them with a fact that a women are  terribly beautiful not with her intelligence, confidence, fearless, independent attitude. but with a long hair and curves wherever needed.

This wrong misinterpretation of the word beautiful has made people extremely beauty conscious and has made them impatient by not working hard to get the much needed desired results and opt for a quick fix solution called cosmetic surgery . People opting for cosmetic surgery fail to understand that cosmetic surgery always does not guarantee desired results it either makes things bad to worse or sometimes cost our life .

My dear beautiful ladies  beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder it is definitely ok not to look ok.  Beauty for us not lies in the cosmetics we use or the trendy clothes we use or by opting for cosmetic surgery, Beauty lies in the confidence, self-motivation, persistence, determination and the attitude to be independent

If given a chance to compare the beauty of Aishwariya Rai & acid attack victim Lakshmi Aggarwal I would definitely say that it is Lakshmi Aggarwal who is beautiful than Aishwariya Rai.

Lakshmi Aggarwal may not be as physically beautiful but her courage on facing the world boldly with her damaged face is where she is extremely beautiful and stupendous and that’s where she stands proudly.

Beautiful faces are everywhere beautiful hearts are hard to find, so let’s concentrate more on being mentally beautiful and less on being physically beautiful.

Remember beauty is not always about makeup.

Thanks
